If you need to make any permit type changes, please contact Elsye Luc before you process your application.

Your parking application is at https://commuting.mit.edu click on faculty, staff, and affiliate parking, and complete your application. When you finish providing all your information, press the SUBMIT button and the information will go directly to the Parking Office. Note: Once the application has been submitted, you can only make changes by directly going over to the Parking Office, now located in the Stratton Student Center, W20-022, or by calling 258-6510. The deadline to submit your on-line application to the parking office is August 15th. Applications submitted after this date may not receive parking stickers until after September 15th, the date 2007-2008 stickers will expire!

Carpool permits are not processed on-line. Please use this link to print out an application for carpool.

Both the primary and secondary members must fill out a paper application.  The primary member must turn in both applications to his/her parking coordinator for processing.

Application for New Parking

If you have never had parking at MIT and would like to apply, please contact Elsye Luc at 617 452-2556 to set-up a parking application. Once you are set-up in the system, you will need to have a site and personal certificate in order to proceed.

Paying by Check

Once you have submitted your on-line application, print a copy and mail it along with your check directly to the Parking Office W20-022 as soon as possible.

If you prefer that I submit the application for you, please let me know as soon as possible if any of your information has changed and if you will pay for parking by check or payroll deduction. Please call me at 2-2556 or email elsye@mit.edu, if you have any questions.

** Please note: MIT will not issue a parking permit to anyone with an outstanding MIT parking violation.**

 

T-Passes On-line

Applications for subsidized T-passes are now on line.

Eligible students, staff and faculty can now apply for a T-pass account, change pass type, change pick up locations, suspend for a period of time and cancel an account on-line. Personal and site certificates are required.
